Piece of advice, if you want people to take pictures of your event
check out their work first and ask word of mouth about them
If He/she already has a stinky reputation, i bet it's already out there

this is one of the article that always haunts a photographer...being a photographer always striving for the best for the clients but sometimes clients might have too much expectation on photographers too. but for this case it's just extremely bad as a point and shoot could do better...
